Learning lessons from the PAPBio program

Altai supported the IUCN and its implementing partners to capitalize on the experiences of the Support Programme for the Preservation of Biodiversity and Fragile Ecosystems, Environmental Governance and Climate Change in West Africa (PAPBio). This EU-funded programme aims to improve the effectiveness of protected area (PA) management systems in West Africa, as well as strengthening regional governance, particularly regarding cross-border protected areas and the fight against environmental crime.
